CNC frames, parametric furniture and trade components

CNC work converts an approved digital design into repeatable cut components for furniture, décor, frames and selected architectural features. Tranquil can review parametric furniture, sofa and chair frame components, decorative panels and trade cutting requirements. A visual reference alone is not a production drawing, so custom CNC work remains quotation-only until geometry, material and quantity are confirmed.

Supply dimensioned drawings in an agreed digital format, overall sizes, material type and thickness, quantities, edge or finishing requirements, assembly expectations and the intended application. Files are checked for manufacturability, nesting and machine requirements before pricing. Timber species, structural performance, load rating and engineering compliance are not inferred. Where a component affects a sofa or chair frame, the full construction and upholstery relationship must be understood.

Pricing considers drawing preparation, machine time, material use, nesting, repeated quantity, finishing, packaging and collection or delivery. Quantity savings are applied only when evidenced and approved. Manufacturing lead time is confirmed after design, quantity and material approval. See CNC Frames & Trade, sofa applications, chair applications and feature-wall projects. Upload drawings and requirements through the seven-step quote.

Customers should retain a controlled drawing version and identify any critical face, grain direction or matching requirement. Changes to the approved file, material or quantity are reviewed before production rather than applied silently. Only the approved revision should be released for cutting.

Frequently asked questions

What drawings are required for CNC cutting?

Provide dimensioned vector or CAD files in a format agreed with Tranquil, together with material, thickness, quantity, tolerances, edge treatment and assembly information. Files are reviewed before a production quotation is issued.

How are repeated CNC components priced?

Pricing considers material yield, nesting, machine time, setup, finishing and quantity. A repeated-part rate is confirmed only after the approved file and material specification have been reviewed; visual references do not establish a production price.
